Description
List or look up extensions field, only looks for matching extension keys and not in the extension title or description.
If you put "modern" in the Look up field you get > No matching extensions found.
As a result I usually leave the List or look up extensions field empty and download the whole honking-big list that causes server or php memory problems.
I would respectfully ask a feature request for a menu search parameter that would limit the extensions found list to a category like Backend or Backend modules, or to search in extension title or description as well as the current extension key field.
This is not that important since I usually go to repository on Typo3 and search there for the extension key but it would be OK in the BE
