Description
As the background of the import export module is defined as white it looks pretty strange, as it doesn't use the full container width.
(Strange to explain, just look at the screenshot)

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
