invisible elements in database selector during setup

Description
After entering the database credentials during the setup wizard, the entries in the database selector box are invisible. They appear only on mouse over (see attached screenshot).
I was able to reproduce this in Chrome 32/Ubuntu and IE11/Windows 7.
