Description
It would be interesting to have an implementation of a NoSQL (CouchDb, MongoDb or the like) storage engine backend for persistence layer.

We absolutely have this planned and the persistence architecture really supports it. But it's not on our short term schedule which mostly follows what we have defined as sprint goals for TYPO3 Phoenix. So ... yes, but not now.
