Internet Explorer Compatibility¶

Motivation¶
We do not want to limit the user's choice in terms of which browser he uses. That means the backend must work in mainstream browsers Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer. While we continually test with Firefox and Chrome, we do not do this for IE.
Goal¶
Make content editing work with Internet Explorer.
Deliverables¶
- required: first, fix IE10
- required: then, fix IE9
- optional: if possible, fix IE8
